Karissa Bone is an Indie R&B Singer-Songwriter from Saginaw, Michigan with music inspired by Motown, Classic Rock, and everything in life that goes sideways. Her airy, yet powerful voice combined with her soul-twisting lyrics make every song a memorable journey. Whether she’s with a full band, string section, at a grand piano, or playing solo with her electric guitar, Bone’s live shows are full of energy and belonging. With short comic breaks she seamlessly covers topics from heartbreak, to nostalgia, and the modern age of technology. Her artistry truly shows through; when she sings your body forces you to stop and listen.
In 2019, while she was studying at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, Bone paid her dues in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the famed Blind Pig and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. After a year, Bone moved to the East-Coast to study Songwriting at the Berklee College of Music.
